2018 Staffordshire Heath Family Get Together.

'The 2018 Staffordshire Heath Family Reunion will take place on Saturday 9th September at Rudyard Methodist Church, Lake Road, Rudyard from 1pm-4pm. It will be an informal get together with the opportunity to chat and view the family trees along with displays of photographs and information. Please feel free to bring along any photographs or research you don't mind sharing.
Rudyard is in the heart of the Horton Heath homeland but please do not feel it is just for the Horton Heath family, all Staffordshire Heath Families are invited. Rudyard also offers an interesting day out. Horton Church is a very short drive away and Rudyard Lake is only a short walk away. Food and drink are available at the cafe on the dam head at Rudyard Lake or at the nearby The Lake Hotel. So please come along and enjoy a day out.'

We would welcome a donation of £2 per person to help cover costs.

Request from the National Trust

I am a researcher with the National Trust based at Biddulph Grange Garden. I'd be most interested to know if you have the time to offer me some help tracing sources and archives relating to the Heath family's ties to Biddulph Grange. We have an eclectic mix of items here at the Grange but in the interest of completeness it would be a great help to find out if you know of any particular sources. I am particularly keen to find images from inside the house, though any images or documents or information about sources for documents would be much appreciated.

Obviously I have already trawled many public archives, but I presume there may be some family archives available to you that you might be willing to share.

Thanks in advance,

Daniel Atherton

Heath Books

A member of our extended Heath family has in his possession a few books that were once owned by someone who might be from your branch of the Heath family.

One book is dated 1805 and has the inscription Ernest Heath.
The other is dated 1891 and has the inscription E Heath.

If anyone can prove a connection to the above and would like these old books can you contact me please via the contact page.

Heath Gathering at Endon Village Hall

[ Heath Researchers in Endon Village Hal May 2014 ]
[ Reg Heath Betty Heath Charlie Heath with Rev Tim Morris May 2014 ]

The fourth Heath Family Reunion was held on Saturday 2nd May 2015 at Endon Village Hall, Staffordshire.

Around 20 people interested in the history of the Heath family attended. There was an abundance of information to be viewed including family trees, photographs, wills and registers.

Chatting over cups of tea revealed fresh information which has been added to the family tree and is available to view via the links page on this website.

Ideas for the next reunion which will be held next Spring are already forming. Please make a note in your diaries and come along.

Many thanks to Denise for organising this years reunion, to Harry for the technical wizardry and to Tim for being tea monitor.
