In Memory of Aircraftwoman 1st Class Gladys Heath, 206128 Women’s Auxiliary Air Force, who died on the 4th November 1942, aged 23.

On the Births, Marriages and Deaths is listed a death for Gladys Heath, December 1942 quarter, for Scunthorpe Lincolnshire
Gladys Heath was the daughter of James and Ellen Heath of Tunstall Stoke-on-Trent.
On the Staffordshire Births, it records a Gladys Heath born in 1919 Burslem Stoke-on-Trent. Maiden name of mother was Shaw.
A marriage of James Heath and Ellen Shaw, was held at St Werburgh Church Kingsley Staffordshire, in the second quarter of 1914.
Seemingly on the 1939 Register there is a James Heath born the 17th January 1888 and Ellen Heath living at Volunteer Inn, Newcastle Street, Burslem. Also listed are Mabel Heath born on the 1st April 1918 and Frances Heath born the 28th August 1926.
The death of James Heath of the Volunteer Inn Newcastle Street Burslem died n the 9th May 1941. Probate was held at Llandudno on the 23rd June to Ellen Heath widow.
